Love the soft painted strokes as the garment billows around her. Another wonderful pallette of colours beautifully visualises this concept. Great work Derek.

Thank you Karla, the garment part came for a long abandoned and failed digital painting! When I rummage on my hard drive it often surprises me what I'm abandoned and totally forgotten about!

Same here. I often start something but cant seem to get it working the way I want it so I abandon it BUT....stock elements that I might have spent cutting out in the process I always keep "just in case" and usually saves me hours not having to cut them out again if i use them in something else :shrug:

I agree, the garment itself almost seems fluid and the comet tail spiraling around her gives the illusion it's also a part of her attire. It certainly helps the look that she is essentially clothed by space itself rather than anything she may have conjured or brought with her.
Makes me think of Space Faeries... and the Improbability Drive.
